how to measure when making packages?

Question

I see how to make a symbol since measurements are not critical, but how do I measure the sizes when making a package? If it's .100 spacing on my part, that seems ok, but what about when it isn't a standard size?

I don't see a measuring tool. I am looking for any tips how or a pointer to info to make this easier..

You can set the grid (help grid) and snap to it. You can do properties

and set the location and to measure you can look at the numbers on the

left side or you can set a mark (help mark) for a relative measurement.
