Group explicit Pins in Symbol

Former Member
Former Member over 12 years ago

Hi there,

i'm trying to GROUP several PINs in my symbol by entering their name into the consol. For Example: -- SHOW TDO/TDO/ nCSO/DATA4/ -- shows my two PINS TDO/TDO/ and nCSO/DATA4/. I want to reach nearly the same, only with the GROUP-Order.

Is it possible to wirte something like -- GROUP TDO/TDO/ nCSO/DATA4/ -- into my consol, so that i can easily GROUP these two PINS?

I've got a symbol with 898 PINS.. and i'm doing quite hard to find several pins..

Thanks

Not exactly what you have asked but is the SHOW command that draws a box

around the found objects of use?

    SHOW @ pin1 pin2

With a large FPGA it was easy to find the pins as they will always be in the

    corners of the box.

How were you going to use the GROUP command if you could gather multple pins

    into the group?
