I am having a problem getting my wires to connect to my parts on the eagle cadsoft software. Is there a possible solution to this problem?

Make sure your schematic grid is set to 0.1 inches. Also make sure each
component symbol is on-grid. You can do this by starting the MOVE
command, then do a Control-Click on the symbol.
As Joern suggested, use the NET command in lieu of the WIRE command.
From the pull-down menu, it's Draw=>Net. There's an icon along the left
side for this as well. A mouse-over will tell you what each icon does.
If you start the MOVE command and grab a symbol, the connected nets will
rubber-band as you move the symbol around. ESC will abort the move and
return the symbol to it's original location.
