Which part for ends?

Which Eagle part should I use when the end of a component goes to

nowhere (actually it does, but to another circuit which I'm not building)

 

or....

 

a schematic which has connections on the PCB without connectors (i.e.

cables are soldered directly to the PCB)?

 

Should I just leave the end of the nets in open air and label them with

a description, or should there be some sort of connection pin, circle,

arrow or whatever?

    You're going to need a place on the board to connect the cable.  It'd be

    best to create a connector with an SMD or through-hole pad.

     

    The connector symbol on the schematic would show the connection so some

    external device, and should be noted as such.

    Yes, that makes sense.

    I found a library called "Wirepad" which seems to be what I need.

    I've done some schematics which are extracted from a bigger one (i.e.

    I'm working on just a specific section of the whole circuit).

    Obviously I'm not going to make a PCB for this but I'm only developing

    something. So I should add a connector part in this case to where it

    attaches to the rest of the circuit, to keep it neat and tidy?
