Strange solder mask openings

I have an Eagle 7.5 PCB that I am working on.  The solder mask layer on top and bottom have some very strange line openings.  I do not know how they got there, nor do I know how to remove them.  Please see the images below.  They don't seem to be part of any component as if I move the component, they are still there.  Can someone tell me how to remove these?  Thank you!

    If you see it in the Gerber data it is sure that there is something

    drawn in the solder stop layer. If you can not delete them in the layout

    editor in EAGLE it is obviously something that comes from a library.

    What if you try to move on of the components in this area? Do the solder

    stop wires belong to one of the parts there? If yes, you have to check

    the package definition......
