edit .sch; ... # ... truncated in front of the '#'

Using v6.6.0 WIN7 I cannot get that to happen from the command line or a

ULP.

How about attaching a file that gives you the problem and we'll try it.

I'm guessing at this point that everything after the # is being seen as

a comment.

I have been able to make it happen and it also happens with V7.7

There are two possible results for a '...SHOW 5V# GND'

string cmd;

sprintf(cmd,"write; show 5V# GND");

exit(cmd);

will only display 5V if it exists

string cmd;

sprintf(cmd,"show 5V# GND");

exit(cmd);

will display GND and tell you it cannot find 5V#

So it appears that if the editor has just attained it's state from an

edit .brd or a save (write) it reacts differently to when it has had the

focus continuously.

I cannot explain it.

1. is escape character for comments in script files(// is escape

character for ulp file) and in this snippet of code:

> string cmd;

> sprintf(cmd,"write; show 5V# GND");

as far as I know, the string in "cmd" is a script file that is executed

at the end of the execution of the ulp file, so this is quite logic...
