Expose open project path in ULP

Former Member
Former Member over 15 years ago

It would be useful if the path of the Open Project folder could be

determined from within a ULP.

Such a command should reveal the path of the Open project. If none is open

then it should indicate this by returning a null.

This would enable ULP code efficiencies when determining the folders used by

Eagle when a Project is open /or not..

Eagle already knows the path so I imagine that  it should not be a large

task to expose it via the User Language.

Thanks in anticipation

Warren

You CAN investigate name memer of the board and schematic. "The name member

returns the full file name, including the directory.".

I dont know if that reflects the output folder, but it might.

Its not the name of the open board or schematic that I'm after. You can get

that easily and the full path is provided.

Its the path to the Open Project I need, which is not necessarily the same

as the open board as you can open any board. You are not limited to the open

    Project folder.

I also need to know when there is no project open.
