In schematic, how to change the name of a net with a script

You can, by using the NAME command. However, the name command has a lot of

potential popup requesters coming up that can't be handled with scripts. If

you try to rename a net to an existing net name, it will ask if you want to

merge with existing or not. Also, if the net is present on several pages,

you will get an option to rename 'current' net or all nets with the same

name. So you may end up with a lot of requesters to answer. I have suggested

optional command line keywords to get rid of those requesters and I'm exited

to see what Eagle 6 will do.

Version 5.10.1 introduced

    Cmd.Name.RenameEntireSignalByDefault can be used to control the default

    behavior of the NAME command.

  - The new SET variable CONFIRM can be used to automatically confirm message
