Preset layer view

I have a script that sets up most of the layer colors and layer presets

(right click on layers icon). I can run the script and it makes things look

as I wanted. Save the drawing and then re-open it and some of the settings

for the layer presets (which layers are on for a particular view) are reset.

Did I miss something to set? Is there something that overrides the script

settings when a board re-loads?

Thanks- Oppie

Looks like the presets in eaglerc.usr override any other settings when the

board re-loads. Is this the way it should be?

At least that's the way it's documented. image

If you don't want such global overrides, simply don't put them into

    eagle.scr.

P.S. My eagle.scr contains nothing of that kind, instead I use a

"defaults.scr" (once) when creating a new board from a schematic.
