Empty project, no board file

I created a new project and then created a schematic within it.  The .sch

file appears beneath it in the control panel.  There's no board file,

however (usually created automatically), and the Description column says

it's an empty project.  How do I solve these issues?  This is in Eagle

4.16r2.  Thanks.

    The board file is created as soon as you enter/click the BOARD command

    in the schematic editor. It's not created instantly with a new schematic.

    Right click on the project, then edit the description.

    Right click on the project, then edit the description.

    Thanks, Tilmann.  That did it.  But I've discovered another problem.  One

    of the parts on the board has a 3-hole footprint.  The holes have a larger

    diameter on the board than in the package editor (this is a part I made

    myself).  The holes on the board are the size they were in the editor when

    I laid them down, but I later reduced them before actually using the part

    in the schematic.  I've tried Library/Update and Library/Update All in the

    board editor, but to no avail.  Any ideas, or should I repost?
