is exactly the same across all three major Os's. All of the muscle your
machines have is futile because EAGLE can't make use of multiple
cores(this is true of most commercial software today, parallization isn't
the easiest thing to manage)"
So I think the answer should be no.

Your answer is correct, EAGLE currently does not support more than
one core.
