  • I think I may get it. The bmp is probaby built of small rectangles and I'm

    not sure how CAM export that. It wont be as round aperture wires for sure.

    It could be that gerbv has issues with that data.

    Does the export script do wires?

    Importing a bitmap results in small rectangles (pixel sized) which are

    later output as flash apertures in the gerber code.

     

    As Jorge mentioned, it should work with GCprevue (which I'm also using

    for decades now, and never had any problems), and gerbv seems to have

    problems with that.
