Pan in the layout

In version 4 it was possible to pan (or "scroll") around in the layout by holding the Ctrl button down and moving the mouse.

Is it possible to do the same in version 5? How do you enable that?

In V5, the ctl key has some new functions... You need to re-enable the

old functionality with a switch in eaglerc.usr or via the SET command.

See the built-in HELP, last section, for "Interface.UseCtrlForPanning".

Take care that there are some side effects with the new functions of the

ctl key. However, that was one of the first settings I applied after

    moving to V5. image

Nice to hear that I am not the only one who likes the Ctrl for panning in V4.

    Thanks for the help, Tilmann.image
