.DRL File Eagle Freeware V5.11.0

Hi Matthew,

In the board editor, open the CAM processor by clicking the CAM icon.

Withing the CAM dialog click File-> Open -> Job.

Select excellon.cam and click open.

Click process job, you will now find a drd and a dri file in the same

directory as your board. This is all assuming that the default

excellon.cam job has not been modified. The dri file is just a summary

of what the CAM processor did, the drd is the file you want.

For some reason when I do this, I still get the same result, where it produces the .dri file but not the .drd file.

I have not edited the CAM file at all (it is locked actually so that I cannot) so I am not entirely sure why this is still happening.  Any further help possible?

Hi Matt,

Are you running Windows 7? Make sure that you are running EAGLE as an

administrator. Right-click on the EAGLE icon and and then select Run as

administrator.

Try running the CAM job now and let's see what happens.

Could you check the settings of your Windows Explorer? Maybe you

hide the "known" file extensions and the extension of the drd

file is not shown....
