Eagle schematic

I'm new with Eagle and have a problem which I hope someone can help me with.

When I select a Hex INVERTER 7404N, some 74LS90N and a NE555NNE555N from tre library and puts them into the schematic, Vcc and GND will

be automatically linked. But the Vcc on the NE555NNE555N will not be automatically linked with the others Vcc. How do I connect eg. Vcc on NE555NNE555N

to the Vcc on one of the 74LS90N in schematic?

    Wellcome new user image

I suppose the "problem" is mostly, that the name of the 555 is not "VCC"

but something else, like V+. For eagle this are two different nets and

therefor they are not connected together. You can connect the 555's "V+"

to the "VCC" using the NET command. (Allways use NET to connect devices

    together, Do NOT use "Wire").

If you use the ERC you woll get a warning that V+ and VCC are connected

together. If this is correct (like in this case) you can just

acknöwledge the warning, otherwise you have to take steps of course.

(there is a tutorial in the "doc" dicectory of eagle or just hit the

    F1 key for help)

    Have fun.
