Eagle only runs DRC once?

Ok maybe nobody knows the answer but are others at least seeing this

problem? Just looking at the number of folks that have viewed this post,

it's the third most popular post on the main page now, so I'm wondering if

that's because others are having the problem as well.

Over the final phase of work on my board (2-3 days or so), I probably had

to close and re-open the board editor at least 100 times to re-run the DRC,

so I'd love to find a way to keep the board editor open and re-run DRC

within it. Thanks.

I don't think that others having your problem is the reason for no replies.

Your description is lacking in detail. Please say what you mean by "nothing

changes"

You "click the DRC button again" . This statement is not complete and only

the first of two clicks required to run a DRC. When, after correcting the

errors, you click the DRC icon, does the DRC dialog open? Then do you

procede by clicking 'OK' in the dialog to run the DRC test? What you are

descibing is as if you have clicked 'canel'.

Experiment with the following

Open a new board that contains just two over lapping vias.

Run a DRC test

You should get one 'overlap' error (and maybe  a couple of drilll errors).

Move the vias apart and run the DRC again. It should run with no errors this

time .

Let us know if that works correctly
