Eagle only runs DRC once?

Hello,

  When I open my board and run a DRC for the first time, everything works

great, I get some errors that I need to address, etc. However, when I fix

those errors, then click the DRC button again, nothing changes. I have to

close the board, then re-open it to be able to repeat the process.

 

Nothing I've found online or in the manual suggests that this should be the

case. I should be able to just click the button when I'm ready to run

again. Does anyone know what might be happening? I'm running Eagle 5.11 on

Windows 7.

    the first of two clicks required to run a DRC. When, after correcting the

    errors, you click the DRC icon, does the DRC dialog open? Then do you

    procede by clicking 'OK' in the dialog to run the DRC test? What you are

    descibing is as if you have clicked 'canel'.

     

     

    Ah I understand now. I was using the tool incorrectly. I was thinking that

    clicking the button with the exclamation point was running a drc and

    showing me any errors, but of course it just shows the errors, which I can

    now see from looking at the tooltip. If however a drc has not yet been run

    since the board has been opened, clicking the show errors dialog actually

    does seem to run a drc for you, so I (erroneously) thought it should always

    do that.

     

    It'd be great if there was some way to get the drc to run and see the

    results with a single mouse click, as it's an operation I repeat quite

    often when finalizing a design, but right now I'm just happy I don't have

    to keep closing and re-opening, so thanks.

    try "drc;" on the commandline or assigned to a hotkey or as an

    entry in the text menu.
