Expanded lock feature

I'd like to be able to lock such things as board dimensions, specific

traces, drill holes, pads and polygons. Locking the board dimension wires

would be a great help if nothing else.

Thanks for listening

    Great suggestions. Sorry for jumping in on your thread but I have another

    lock feature request: Group unlocking. Currently one can only group lock

    but unlocking has to be made one by one. So if I have a board say 500 parts

    and by mistake I group all and then hit lock. Every part is locked but to

    unlock (yes, undo will help if not saved) I have to click every part one by

    one to unlock. I guess unlock should be added to the toolbar as new tool or

    expand the lock tool to select lock/unlock to it can be used when grouping.

    Good morning, Petteri,

    Group unlock is already present in Eagle.  Try this:

        group all;

        lock (CS>0 0);

    The "(CS>0 0)" is script for Ctrl-Shift-RightClick at coordinates 0,0.

    See the Eagle User's Manual under section 5.2.  Modifiers to coordinate

    clicks are explained on page 95 of the English version, and on page 97

    of the German version.

    Likewise,

        lock (C>0 0);

    will lock whatever group is currently selected.

    This can be done without using the command line by selecting the group,

    clicking the Lock icon, then Ctrl-RightClick to lock the group, or

    Ctrl-Shift-RightClock to unlock it.

    HTH,

        - Chuck
