Screen size "jumps" when tools are selected

I don't notice this on my Linux system here. What OS do you use

and maybe do you use some special settings concerning the display?

I am using Windows 7 with a 1920x1080 LED monitor.  I don't recall the

exact display settings and I am not on that computer right now.

Just to chime in -- I notice this subtle screen resizing behavior as well on my Windows 7 machine, 1920 x 1080, and it appears related to the Eagle toolbar when certain icons appear.
