Eagle 6.1.0 Design Link SSL error

Good Morning,

As other users I found a problem in the use of Design Link with Eagle 6.1.0.
Specifically:

 

Error while entry has 'https://uk.farnell.com/pffind/services/SearchService':

6 SSL handshake failed

I performed testing on different computers and different ISPs, but the problem persists.
On the same machines, Eagle 5.1.1 Design Link works perfectly.

    Hi Silvio,

     

    I have notified our developers, let's see what they get back with. If

    you are behind a firewall I would recommend disabling it for a moment

    and trying designlink just to see if the firewall has something to do

    with it.

    as your suggestion I checked again the settings of firewalls, routers and proxies. I confirm that Design Links on Eagle 6.1.0 still doesn't work, while, on Eagle 5.1.1 works correctly.
    I await the response from developers.

    For more infos, i used on XP sp3 and win7 64 bit PCs.

    Hi Silvio,

     

    Our developers got back to me and confirmed that the SSL error you're

    experiencing is due to the Qt Libraries we use. They looking to see what

    they can do about it in version 6.1.4.
