Hi Joe,

Drop removes libraries from the active search list,definitely not what

you want. To get all of your libraries back type the following in the

command line:

USE *  means pressing the enter key on your keyboard. This will

bring all of your libraries back into use.

You don't have to get rid of the search just type in the new part you're

looking for and press enter. It's a good idea to make liberal use of

eagle's wildcard character(*) when looking for parts. For example don't

search for LM555 you won't get any hits, but it is there, instead search

for 555 and in the linear library you'll find the part you want.

What I do when I want to get all of the libraries back is search for *,

and then click the icon to the left of search field pack up the libraries.

Hi,

Thanks for the info on drop. It seems to be ok now, but when I was

using it yesterday the x icon to the left of the text field was doing

nothing. The search field and search results were not being cleared.

That is why I tried the drop button. That messed things up more I

suppose.

Not sure how I got it in that mode, if it happens again I will try to

repeat and let you know.
