Use Improvements?

New user, so maybe I'm missing something.  But I would like to have these:

 

On most tools, once you select the tool and use it, a left click on a new item repeats the tool.  Would be nice if Properties worked this way.

 

For library maintenance, you can't remove a device, package or symbol unless you have that item open.  Would be nice to be able to delete anything without opening it first.

 

Would be nice to have a "Repeat" button so some operation on one item can be repeated on another.  A simple example is VALUE.

  • Another thought.  In the library editor, if you select a function (such as

    'i'), then change parts, there's no need to de-activate the 'i'.  That just

    causes more work.

     

    Similarly, when you switch between device, package and symbol, there's no

    need to change the grid.  That too just causes extra work.

     

    Don't get me wrong.  I'm not complaining.  I'm finding Eagle to be a

    terrific tool!  But I'm the kind of guy who would prefer doing things with

    one key or one click rather than many.
