Problem installing Eagle 6.2.0 (Can't determine start folder)

Hi,

 

I have a problem installing Eagle 6.2.0 on a Windows 7 machine

 

I uninstalled my previous Eagle version en downloaded the most recent: 6.2.0

When installing is at 100% it failes with the message "Can't determine start folder" followed by the message "An error occured while installing Eagle. Please fix the problem and run Eagle setup again."

 

Anybody an idea how to actually fix this problem?

    Hi Bart,

     

    Is this a work machine? Do you have any restrictions on this computer

    which would inhibit you from being able to install EAGLE?

    Hi Jorge,

     

    The machine is a notebook on which I run Windows 7 professional with an account that has administrator rights. I also tried "Run as administrator" but without succes.

    Hi Bart,

     

    Try downloading the installer again and running the new one, sometimes

    the installer doesn't download properly.

     

    If that fails please let me know and I'll see what else we can try.

    Is there a solution to this problem?  I'm experiencing the same "Can't determine start folder" error message as the original poster when trying to install EAGLE 6.5.0 on a Windows 7 Pro machine using an administrator account.  I've tried the solutions suggested in this thread with no success.
