Eagle v6.2.0 Crashes using ULP or Design Rules?

Hi All,

 

I am experiencing application crashes with v6.2.0 of Eagle running under Mountain Lion OSX 10.8.0. Whenever I try to use the ULP function or load a Design Rules file - The File List window appears momentarily, then closes and Eagle crashes.

 

I have tried removing the Eagle folder/Application. Reinstalling v6.2.0 and v6.1.0 but both have the same issue.

 

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?

  • After going through the permissions deal I was still craashing

    Then Jorge told me about not saving to apps folder

    So I setup a folder in Documents and put all the folders in there except the App itself and the Bin folder I left in a folder in my apps folder.

    I relinked the directly folders in Eagle and so far no crashing at all when doing a save as to a different folder

    I will corroborate with what user John Suhr says.

     

    I am running OSX 10.8.5 with Eagle 6.5.0. Every time I tried to run a ULP or CAM job (or anything that opened a folder window) Eagle crashed on me.  Changing permissions didn't work, but moving everything except the app and the /bin folder OUT of of the Applications/EAGLE-6.5.0 folder did work.  I had to do this through terminal, since I needed sudo permissions.  I then went into the Eagle's Options>Directories dropdown and updated the paths for everything.  It works now.
