Manually route 4 layer board?

Hi John,

You never have to preplace vias when your manually routing using the

ROUTE command. The procedure for placing a via while routing manually is

as follows:

1. Left click on the pad you wish to start from.

2. Continue routing until you reach the point where you wish to drop a

via. Left click to stop the segment.

3. Click your Mouse Scroll wheel as if it were a button. Select what

layer you wish to transition to.

4. Continue routing, the next time you left click to stop a segment

EAGLE will drop the via at the transition point for you.

Thanks Jorge I must have been trying to place a via in a restricted area as that is working. Thanks for you help
