how to remove duplicate libraries

When I go to add a component, I noticed there are duplicates of all the

SparkFun components.  I looked in my library directory and I only see one

set of SparkFun files.  How can I track down the duplicate files and

remove?

  • I figured it out.  Eagle was looking for library files in both my Eagle 6.3

    and 6.2 directories.  I'm not sure why it was still searching 6.2.  I

    removed the 6.2 lib directory and everything is fine now.

  • I figured it out.  Eagle was looking for library files in both my Eagle 6.3

    and 6.2 directories.  I'm not sure why it was still searching 6.2.  I

    removed the 6.2 lib directory and everything is fine now.

    You coulad also set the correct Library path in the EAGLE Control Panel

    and type the following two lines into the command line in the schematic

    or board editor window:

     

       USE -*;

       USE *;

     

    First line "unloads" all libraries, second loads all libraries that are

    in the libraries path.
