Eagle freezes when trying to print

I've used Eagle in the pst for homebrew PCBs. I'd click print, print to PDF and go from there. I made a new board and tried it today and when I click the print icon Eagle freezes. I noticed there was an update (I was using 6.1.0) so I upgraded to 6.4.0. I still have the same issue. It doesn't matter whether I'm in the schematic capture or PCB layout screen. I also tried it with the last PCB I designed and printed and it locks up with that one as well. Any thoughts?

    personally I don't print to PDF when I am doing homebrew PCBs, I use a CAM export to get output in postscript format and then print that.  I can't say I've done it in 6.4.0 but I did do it in 6.3.0 a few months ago without problem

    Hi Will,

     

    The PDF backend has an issue in version 6.4.0. The workaround is to set

    the solid option in the print dialog.

     

    Try this and let me know how this works for you.
