Making the switch from expressPCB - ground plaine

    I'm working on making the change from expressPCB and there are some things I'm wondering how to do or if they're possible.

It's nice to be able to hide the ground plaine while working so it's easier to see traces, connectors, labels, etc.  Is there an easy way to hide the pologon?

Also, is there an easy way to move around the part lables so it doesn't get so muddled with parts that are close together?

Thanks!

    Hi Mike,

    To revert the polygons to outline mode type:

    ripup @;

    Followed by enter in the EAGLE command line, the polygons will now be

    unfilled and you can see your traces clearly.

    To move around component labels you first seperate the text from the

    part using the SMASH command. You will now notice that the text have

    little cross hairs on the bottom left edge. You use these snap points to

    move and modify the text with the appropriate commands.

    Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

    Best Regards,

    Jorge Garcia
