Empty project

I have a project I am working on, all is normal EXCEPT the control panel

says empty project...WHY?

 

When I click on it, it brings up both my board & schematic & the green dot

just fine. Closing, it, exiting Eagle, trying again, etc, gives the same

result, with "empty project".

 

This is rather disconcerting, since it is NOT empty.

 

Finally, I noticed I could edit the description & all is now well (now

gives MY description), but why would it have been saying empty project?

 

This is Version 6.4.0

  • I should sayat the top of the control panel directory list are several

    V5.xx projects that I have not converted to the new V6.xx ( I open it asks

    if I want to save in the new format, which I have been saying "NO", since

    I'm not working on them now)...not sure if this has any effect on my V6

    project at the bottom of the list.
