SD Card Connector

I need to use a Hinged Micro SD Card Connector with a card-detect (CD)

switch.  A suitable part is the Hirose DM3CS-SF and I have managed to find

an Eagle part for this (see attachment).  However, in common with a few

other Eagle parts for SD Card holders with CD switches, there are no

connections for the CD switch or the ground on the schematic symbol.  All

the pads are visible in the board component.  I realise that I can edit the

part as necessary but I wonder why the part is not complete and whether

there is something I am not realising?

Thanks for any assistance,

paradigm

    Hi Alan

Maybe most people dont use the hardware card detect, chosing to use the

signal on the card pin, anyway simply  add the pins 9 thru 13 to the symbol

and connect them in the device

10 is the card detect pin as I see it. Name the others ground with the @

    convention (See HELP - PIN)
