Cannot remove wrong placed routes on pcb

When drawing some lines on the PCB, and when i want remove some lines, i use the Delete tool.

But when i click on the line, most time it's not working because i have warning:

"Can't backannotate this operation. Please do this in the schematic".

 

Huh? When is deleting wrong placed lines not allowed? I can only move them but that is more work. I want delete it faster and re-draw it again.

 

Why is this annoying error message almost ALWAYS popped when i want delete some lines. It feels the program is pretty bugged because there is nothing wrong with deleting lines.

Fix the problem immediately. *sigh*

  • If you're trying to route a net that was created in the schematic, you should use the ripup command instead of delete...

  • (Sorry, I didn't mean to send that last message so quickly without an explanation.  Here it is...)

     

    There's a difference between actually deleting a net (which has to be done in the schematic) and converting that net's airwire to a trace and then ripping up that trace to convert it back to the airwire so that you can route it again.

     

    From the EAGLE help file:

    With active Forward&Back Annotation, no wires or vias can be deleted from a signal that is connected to components in a board. Also, no components can be deleted that have signals connected to them. Modifications like these have to be done in the schematic.
