Hi folks,
I'm using Eagle 6.5.0. I am trying to put a frame on a schematic drawing. So I selected FRAME_A_L (A Size, Landscape), and placed it. However, the frame is drawn to the exact size of the page (8.5 x 11 inches), and consequently cannot actually print on one page, because printers require a border.
I do understand that frames are not drawn with lines, but implemented instead with the Frame command. I've tried everything I can think of to resize the frame from the library: combinations of Move, drag, Ctrl-drag on some part of the frame, and examining the properties, in both the schematic and the library editor. The only reaction I get is that the frame moves, but doesn't resize.
Of course, I could scale down the printout, or I could edit the XML of the library or the schematic, but I have to think this is not how this is supposed to work.
So: How does Eagle intend for us to use the A size frame from the library?
Thanks!
