I'm new to Eagle and i've found a gerber file on Microchips website that i'd like to import in to Eagle to play with the Schematic and Board.

How do i do so? The file is RS274-X format. I have Eagle Pro 6.5.0.

    Hi Darren,

I hope you're doing well. There are several tools for importing Gerbers

into EAGLE. Most of them are rather old but they still work. Go to our

website www.cadsoftusa.com>Downloads>Tools and Converters. Search for

gerber and you'll see the available tools. I've used gbr274x6 in the

    past with success.

    Hi Jorge,

    Thank you for your advise.

Once i've download the file you list above GBR274X6zip and unzip it, what do i do next.

It opens a terminal like window???

I've tried copying one of the files into the terminal window, but i just get error 76???

Sorry for being stupid, but i've never done this before and as stated, still learning my way around Eagle.
