Sorry about the title.
I am designing a board where some components will be any of several sizes, so I make several holes and pads to accommodate some different lengths. I connect the pads using 17 Pads layer.
Now, when routing, I would like to be able to choose where the connection should be at, for each instance of the device, among the interconnected options. I would love it if the autorouter could choose freely as well.
At present the package looks something like this (I am rather unexperienced, trying my way as I go along).
How would you do this? And is it good to use pads layer this way? Thanks!
