EAGLE 7.4.0 - how to copy parts from a library to another

Former Member

Hello,

I'm using EAGLE from time to time and recently updated to version 7.4.0.

Unfortunately, after googeling and searching for hours, I still can't figure out how to copy devices (parts) from one library to another.

Can somebody help me please?

Most probably, it still works exactly the way it always has:

    a) Use the command line. With the target library open, enter:

copy devicename.dev@sourcelib  (enter appropriate names here)

    b) Use the control panel. With the target library open, switch to the

control panel, open the source library there, select the device with

the right mouse button and chose "copy to library".

I am pretty sure that with looking into the manual (or even trying HELP

COPY...), you wouldn't have been "searching for hours".
