Seems that only a matching segment of a pair is compared. This makes meander nearly useless, especially if one trace is a single segment.
The correct way is to compare the entire trace lengths including any curves.

Figured it out.
UNFORTUNATELY the DEFAULT is not anything anyone would want for a differential pair.
Mouse keys
Ctrl+Left measures the length of the selected signal segment.
Ctrl+Shift+Left measures the maximum length of the selected signal segments.
Right toggles between symmetrical and asymmetrical meanders.
Augh!
Also the documentation on how to do things on the command entry mode is too terse. Some examples in the help files would be very helpful, as well as actually showing the full syntax.
Syntax
MEANDER [length] • ..
This doesn't give one much information on what to do. Come on, let's do better. I did pay for this product.
