Hi all,
I have a peculiar problem while creating a library part. The package was created. Then the symbol a 16 pin device. However when linking the device it pops up with package doesn't have enough pads to cover the number of pins created. Upon further investigation, I found that every pin is linked twice. By that I mean when I just have 1 pin in the Symbol (as opposed to 16), save then go to Device and click Connect, the name of pin 1 appears twice as follows: G$1.P$1 and G$2.P$1.
So if I had the full 16, that would mean 32 and obviously 16 pads cannot cover the pins.
So how do I get rid of the double pin linkage?
Eagle version 6.5 Professional.
