Issue connecting wire

Hello .I am undergoing with below issue. I tried to resolve by checking some online tutorials but I cant find out the solution.

Issue:

 

I cant find LT3751 device in Eagle library and I created my own. But I cannot connect the wire from an component to my device. I am using Eagle 7.5 Version.

    Hi Praveen,

     

    I hope you are well and your project is progressing. I've only just seen this message, sorry for not replying sooner. I expect you have resolved your issues by other means now but I have taken a quick look. Your clearance error is just a function of the footprint vs the design rules you have in place. Sometimes these clearance errors are unavoidable and you just have to approve them in DRC as there is nothing you can do if you need to use that part.

     

    For the solder mask issues, this is where silk screen items drawn on tPlace are overlapping the pads. I tend to put minimal body outlines on the silk screen, enough to be able to get the correct orientation and position of each part and identify pin 1, and then put more comprehensive body drawings on tDocu which I then use for creating assembly drawings.

    Dear Rachel,

     

    Good afternoon!

    Hope you are doing good!!

     

    I have done with my PCB and resolved most of the errors with your help.

     

    Now I resulting with 6 errors " Solder mask errors and clearance errors" I have attached 6 screenshot.

     

    I changed all  fonts to Vector. and all layers are on.. let me know if there any solution to resolve. Once done I will give it for printing image

    2. Lead diameter is 0.5mm that is what i needed. so the hole size in layout should be same 0.5mm. where can I verify the hole size If I take a capacitor from the library.

     

    3. Is the possible to increase the hole size and distance between the 2 holes in the layout.

    I haven't looked at the library you are mentioning and can't easily as I delete all the bundled libraries and just create my own from scratch. 5.08mm looks like the number I would expect to see for the distance between the leads of a part like this so that is probably the hole spacing and it sounds like your assumptions about length and width are probably right. To be sure though, open the part up in the library editor and take a look at the footprint in more detail and you should be able to confirm these measurements for yourself.

     

    Yes it is possible to increase the hole size and distance but not in the board, you need to do this in the library editor. Create yourself a new library for your own parts and copy this part over to there. Then open up with part from your new library in the library editor. You can then change the hole size in the properties for the holes and move them around to suit your needs.

    Hi,

     

    I've just had a quick look at your library and the problem is because you haven't drawn the symbol in your library on a 0.1" grid. Pretty much all the pins are off grid which is why it won't connect. You need to change your grid in your library symbol to 0.1" and move all the pins back onto the grid.
