rename multiple vias at the same time

Former Member
Former Member over 9 years ago

Hello,

I am placing multiple vias next to each other in order to electrically connect two polygons (top and bottom) of the same net. When placing the vias, each one has a unique name. Hence, the vias are not connected to the polygons. So I am using the name-tool now to rename each via one by one. The group-function does not work.

Is there a faster way of renaming the vias so all of them are within the same net as the polygons at once? Maybe directly when placing them?

Thank you!

Lars

Place the first via with the same net name as the polygon then copy the via to other places. The copies will retain the

net name as long as the via doesn't use an Eagle generated name. You can then copy the copies as you would the first via.

    Exactly, directly when placing them:
