Moving a Library to a Folder

Question

It would be nice to move some libraries into folders to keep them organised.

But as soon as I move a library, when I try to use a part in that library (e.g. update a package), Eagle tells me:

Library Connector.lbr was not found in current library path(s).

Please adjust the library paths or export the drawing libraries first!

Is there any way to move a library to a folder and still keep the references?

Hi,

yes, this is very easy to use.

-> in the control panel you'll find the menu item options - folders:

in this Formular you can register your own lib folder you like.

I have it so as an example:

C: - the eagle program

D: - projects with the library folders.

!! Then if the folders are registered you needs to activate all needing lbr files in the program panel.

For the future: if you makes some updates or upgrades the program will copied in there new folder.

Then you have playing same the game manually moving the lbr folders.

In addition you can add more paths be separating them by a semicolon.
