Wire to Net Conundrum.

yahalimu

I have been using Eagle 7.6 Light to design the schematic for my project, I have no previous Eagle experience.

Much later and now I am close to getting the PCB made I have started to follow the tutorial and look at the manual.

I have discovered I should have used NET to connect to component pins rather than WIRE.

Does anyone know a quick and easy way to change them all to NET without replacing each connection one by one?

    Well, that'll teach you image

Fortunately you probably don't need to. Although the NET tool is the

correct one to use - because it does the right thing in lots of cases

where WIRE doesn't - Eagle is smart enough to register wires in the

"Nets" layer as creating nets too, provided they make the required

    connections.

You say you're "close to getting the PCB made" so I assume you've got a

board layout? You must have had the airwires when you started that,

which demonstrates that the nets have been created. Check your ERC

results to be sure there are no unconnected pins and visually review

your board to confirm that it's complete.
