Import Altium libraries and projects into Eagle

Hi everyone!

 

In this previous discussion, it was mentioned that library importing into Eagle was not supported. That was in 2014.

 

Anyone knows if this has changed? Altium can export libraries into an .lia format. Is there a way to import those into Eagle?

 

Also when I import the Altium exported PCAD .sch and .brd files into Eagle, I'm not sure if there's schematic-board connection / annotation. (Not sure what the technical term is called) Is there a way to ensure or create that annotation?

 

I'm currently using a trial Altium 17 and Eagle 6.5.

    If you have a paid licence for version 6 then consider downloading the

    last version 6 which is v6.6 and your licence still applies.
