I need to realign a board dimension that I imported through a DXF file. It is not straight, can i realign it to be straight? Please see the attached image.

    Hi

There is a manually way but you have to eyeball it level and its not

that simple. The following give you more control

As the shape needs to rotated, you first need to find out many degrees

    to rotate it.

Click the 'Information' icon and then click on the straight line along

    the bottom.

In the information box that appears you can read the angle of that line

which is likely to be about 355.55 degrees

Subtract this from 360 degrees and that's your rotation angle.

Rotation will be anticlockwise for positive numbers.

Next, turn off all layers except the dimension layer so you don't rotate

    something else in error.

Click the Group icon an draw the rectangle around the shape.

Click the 'Rotate' icon  and observe in the toolbar the 'Angle' is 90

Type in your calculated angle and hit enter.

Then, apply the rotation to the group and it will rotate it to where you

    need it.

Now it may not be exactly horizontal due to rounding errors in the

angle. Verify this by observing the information of that wire as you did

    at the start.
