New to eagle cad feed back problems i think..

I have my first board, it has some optic sensors connected with led's so I can see whats going on...

 

Problem is when I trip one sensor all the led's are lighting so I assume the gnds or power have to be

run different the signal is separate from the rest of the connections and just leaves the board when tripped

 

so I am guessing the power or gnd is pulling all the leds high...

 

Any suggestion to isolate this some how..?

    I'm gessing that diode D758 is connected wrong.

    That's a good guess.

     

    Another thing to check is that the light from the LED's may be feeding

    back into the optic sensors, keeping everything tripped.  Then there's

    always ambient light running at 50 or 60 Hz (depending on your location

    on the Earth), re-tripping the board on every half-cycle.

     

    If the board is operated outside, then there's a constant illumination

    of the sensors, except, of course, when swallows migrate.  Then one must

    account for rate at which the bird's wings beat, which, under certain

    circumstances, can produce a pulsating waveform in the optical sensors.

    The duration of such a pulsating waveform is limited to the time the

    light from the sun is interrupted by the avian, and /that/ can only be

    answered if one knows the airspeed of an unlaiden swallow.

    could be the diodes will check that...

    I was thinking would a Schmitt Trigger work? i have 8 optic sensors and a digital probe connected..

    all with led's plus a power led....
