Downloaded gerber files for bq24650EVM. Never seen these extensions b4. Can't open in Eagle. What am I missing? Thanks!.

These are the extensions of the files: drl, fb, ipc, L1, L2, L3, L4, M1, M4, S1, S4. What do I need to open these in Eagle? Thanks for reading.

If they're Gerber files, you don't open them in Eagle. Gerbers are

manufacturing photoplotter data that you would normally export from

Eagle once your design is complete.

Try opening them in a Gerber viewer, such as gerbv or GC-Preview or even

There is no standard for file extensions for Gerber files but I'd guess

that Lx are the copper layers, Mx are the solder masks, Sx are the silk

screens, drl is probably an Excellon drill file.

Hi, ! First you need to preparing the settings for import into Eagle. Attached you'll find the instruction. Most problems are format of the values (Gerber 274x) and which aperture (Excellon xxx) you need. Then import the drill file(s) first then also the Gerber files layer by layer. Gerald ---
