Consistency errors - Attribute of part not found in board

Hello everybody,

 

I'm adding to some components in the schematics an attribute 'OC_FARNELL' with its corresponding ordering number.

After doing an ERC, I get the following errors:

'Attribute of part X not found in board'

and I get the following warning when I open the board:

Board and schematic are not consistent!

No forward-/backannotation will be performed!

Use the ERC command to get a detailed error report.

 

How could I solve this?

I would appreciate your tougth on this.

PS: I'm using Eagle 8.3.2

    Hi Sebastian,

     

    There is a ULP provided with EAGLE called copy-arrrib-sch-to-brd. Execute this with the RUN command in the schematic and it should copy all the attributes over from the schematic to the board.

    Thank you for your response.

     

    I tried the ULP and it seems to work. Unfortunately, after running it I noticed that this attribute gets display on layer 21 'tPlace' on the board, overlaying other drawings that I had previously in there.

    Is there anyway to avoid this? I don't want to display the attributes on the board. I could turn manually the the 'display' setting  in every single object, but I have too many of them.

    I tried to take a look in the ULP in order to change this, but I'm not very familiar with ULPs.

    Do you have any ideas?
