Hi Dave, Also, what gerber file viewer are you using, is this output from EAGLE, or third party software? If third party, it could be worth trying some additional software, (e.g. 'gerbv' but there are…

If you take the same design and export if using the old 8.5.2 CAM processor is your bPlace then in the correct location? I.e. is this specific to the new 8.6.0 CAM processor?

Hello, My guess would be you are not using the vector font. Did you also use a multi-line text field to position the text vertically? If you use the vector font and place the text exactly where you want…

    Hi Dave,

I hope your doing well. The main issue here appears to be that you have mixed a legacy CAM job with the new Gerber file format. The offsets are calculated differently in each system so you shouldn't mix them. The recommended solution is to convert all of your legacy sections to the new format and export the gerbers then. You can do this easily by right clicking the word Legacy and you'll see an option to convert all of the sections to GerberX2.

Alternatively, you can have everything using the legacy system. That will also work, the key here is that you don't want to mix them.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

    Best Regards,

    Jorge Garcia

Might I suggest that the CAM tell you this rather than letting people do it? A message saying that in order to add a new X2 layer then the legacy job must be converted and offer to convert it to the new format at that point.

    Best Regards,

    Rachael
