Two components behave like one

Hello,

I created a schematic in Eagle using 6 pairs of PCIE slots (12 PCIE slots total). After neting them together and creating a board file from the schematic I discovered that each pair of the PCIE slots is treated in the board layout as one (I see only 6 slots in the board editor and they have doubled routes connected to them). When I try to rename one of the shots the second one from the pair gets the same name attached immediately. This messes the routing in the bord editor up. How can I rename the slots so that every single one will be treated individually and not as a pair?

    Hi Jan

Something has gone wrong and Eagle may not be innocent.

As the behaviour seems totally abnormal, there is no standard fix.

It normally pays to quote the version of eagle you are using as some

versions should be avoided and readers can let you know if this is so.

Additionally, mention where the library part you are using came from.

Did it come with Eagle or did it come from elsewhere or did you create

    it? It all helps

The fastest way to get an answer is to zip up the schematic/board and

    attach it here.

Personally I would be looking at the XML of the board, locate the six

pairs of sockets and verifying if the tags/elements are formed correctly
