Variant names

Hello,

 

when you create a new device variant EAGLE will ask you for its name. If

you leave the box empty you'll see double quotes ( " ) as variant name

but actually there are no suffix added to component name. Let's say this

is the 'default' variant of the device.

 

Now you have several variants and you want to change the 'default' one.

 

How to?

 

You can't rename such a variant leaving the name empty (this time EAGLE

won't use double quotes). You can't insert the double quotes yourself

because it will be the actual variant name, appended to the device name.
