Custom Library not in ADD list

First attempt at creating custom libraries.  I created a couple of test

libraries, all of which are using symbols copied from other libraries.  None

of the custom libraries are listed when I use the ADD command.

I have checked the following:

1. The custom libraries are in the same folder as all the other standard

libraries.

2. In EAGLE Control Panel, the radio button is green, indicating that the

custom library should be available to the ADD command.

3. However, I have found that in Control Panel, all other libraries will

have a sub-list of all the parts contained in the library.  My custom

libraries do not have any sub-list.

4.  Even though there are definitely symbols in the custom libraries that I

can edit, they do not appear to be recognized by EAGLE.

Any suggestions?  Worked on this for 4 hours already............THANKS!

A lib device requires both a symbol and footprint that are connected so

is seems that your parts you have made(copied) are incomplete.
